Transit bus service is provided between the Airport and the city of Thessaloniki, with connections to the Central Railway Station and the “Makedonia” Regional Coach Terminal (KTEL).
Bus service from Thessaloniki airport runs every 30 minutes and the journey to the city center takes about 40 – 50 minutes.
Non-stop service to and from the city center:

- Bus Route Nr. N1 “KTEL – Airport ” (Night Service)
Single fare is 2€. Tickets can be purchased by vending machines on board the service. On-board vending machines accept exact change only.
Students and Senior citizens (65 years of age or older) are eligible for 50% reduction; children aged 6 and younger travel free of charge.

From the airport, to reach Porto Palace Hotel you can take X1 bus and get off at bus stop “Platia Aristotelous” (Aristotelous square) on Tsimiski street. Then you have to walk 300m to Egnatia Street. Cross Egantia Str. to take bus route No 31 “Voulgari – KTEL”, going to the KTEL terminal. You get off at bus stop “Sfagia” and the Porto Palace Hotel is in walking distance.
Single ticket fare is 1€. Tickets can be purchased by vending machines on board the service. On-board vending machines accept exact change only.
Kindly note that close to bus stops are taxis, as well.
Shuttle bus service by Porto Palace Hotel
The congress venue Hotel, Porto Palace provides a shuttle bus service to visitors from/to Thessaloniki airport upon request. The shuttle bus service is available for up to 7 passengers. The cost of this service is 50€. For booking please contact the Porto Palace Hotel at the email@example.com
Taxis are available at the airport for 24 hours. The cost of a taxi from the airport to the venue center is about 28 €. Please note that there is a late night rate between 00:00-5:00am. A taxi can accommodate 2-3 persons according to their luggage.
